You can expect Stormtroopers, Jedi's, Bounty Hunters, Dark Lords of the Sith, as well as a few Colonial Marines from ALIENS and a few other surprise characters! The UKG always help the Star Wars Day be as memorable as possible and from the sounds of things this Star Wars Day will be even better. |
If you remember the release of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith back in May last year, you'll have also have seen the UKG in action.
The UKG often work closely with Lucas Film, Lucas Arts and software company Activision on Star Wars promotion.
But more importantly, the UKG also are a non-profit fundraising organisation. |

| They promote and raise money for such charities as Children in Need, Kisses for Katie and MediCinema to name just a few. |
In recent years the UKG have also carried their superb costuming skills into other movies.
The UKG now has many different characters in its ranks from Colonial Marines from ALIENS, Predators, Batman costumes, Ghostbusters to vampire death-dealers!

Here's an update that will give you a better idea of what to expect from the Aliens and Firefly Displays at this years Star Wars Day:
| |
The very MARINE ARMOUR as worn by Bill Paxton (Private Hudson) and the JUMPSUIT that Lance Henriksen (Bishop, the Android) wore in the movie Aliens, now celebrating it’s 20th anniversary, will be taking pride of place alongside many other props and costumes on display from the fantastic
Harry Harris Alien Collection and Archive
. |
Jayne Cobb (Adam Baldwin) may not be able to make it to the event, but his very favourite gun can.
Malcolm Reynolds may have worn it and given it purpose, but Firefly fandom took it for their own name.
Yes folks that’s right, standing proud amongst the various Firefly Props and Costumes being displayed, will be the screen used VERA (Jayne Cobb's/Adam Baldwin's awesome machine gun), and Malcolm Reynolds screen used hero BROWNCOAT, as worn by Nathan Fillion!
Find out more about Jayne's favourite firearm by clicking here |
| |
There will be many more screen used costumes and props from these two fantastic shows, with experts on hand to answer any queries.
Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to see these rarely seen collections.
Photos will be allowed but some flash photography will be restricted due to the nature of the props. |
